My name is Megan Bauce; I am the new owner and operator of Cherry Blossom Acupuncture & Wellness.  I am currently in the process of obtaining my license as a registered Acupuncturist. I am a Graduate of the three-year Acupuncture program, from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM) based in Calgary Alberta.

Before studying Chinese Medicine, I attended the University of Lethbridge, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Kinesiology. This is where my interest in the human body & its healing process began.  I decided to enroll in CITCM, to explore the natural & holistic side of healing. With my combined education in both Western and Eastern medicine, I understand the importance of having a healthy mind and body will lead to a more balanced lifestyle.

I have recently moved to the Okanagan area, which has always been a dream of mine. Being able to move to such a beautiful area of B.C. and combining that with the opportunity to pursue my passion of healing is an adventure I am excited to embark upon. With my involvement in Cherry Blossom Acupuncture and Wellness, I hope to share my knowledge with patients to help them achieve a balanced state. I look forward to meeting both old and new patients of Cherry Blossom Acupuncture.

Katrina Ao
Registered Acupuncturist

I studied Acupuncture at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, B.C.  The three-year program covered both Western and Chinese Medicine views on resolving issues like orthopedic, neurological, and digestive disorders.  For more clinical experience I spent two months in Sri Lanka treating up to twelve people a day.  There I treated people with high blood pressure, joint pain, and stroke recovery.  My practicum also included offering shiatsu massage at the Victoria Native Friendship Centre.  In addition to academic requirements, I’ve apprenticed with Classical Chinese Medicine practitioners in Vancouver and Victoria. Currently, I volunteer with Vernon’s Family Resource Centre where I’m refreshing counseling skills I gained from my involvement with Vancouver's youth and immigrant and refugee communities.

At Cherry Blossom, my goal is to treat every client as a whole person.  I do this by combining gentle precision, restorative touch, and reflective dialogue.  I am most inspired by the changes acupuncture
facilitates in my client and in myself.

Rhianda and I first met at a Meridian Therapy study group in Vancouver, and I look forward to continuing what she has initiated in Kelowna.  You can expect similar techniques of pulse diagnosis,
non-invasive needling and moxibustion.

Kait Fleice, NHP

Kait Fleice is a graduate of the Natural Health Practitioner Diploma Program through the Canadian Institute of Natural Health and Healing.  Kait has been practicing massage and bodywork since 2006 and Reiki since 2001.

Kait has always had a strong belief in natural health and healing and since beginning her career as a massage practitioner she has gained and even greater love and respect for it.

Massage and bodywork are an excellent and effective way to aid with conditions such as stress, muscle tension, chronic pain, detoxification, circulation and digestive problems.

Kait's training consists of a variety of modalities including Swedish Massage, European Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Table Shiatsu and Aromatherapy.  Each treatment has a unique means to repair and heal tension or blockages in the system and performing a balance of each is what Kait truly enjoys.
